47th GAYA (Georgia Author of the Year Award) at Kennesaw State University This journey, although a hectic one, is turning out to be an AMAZING one! I feel as if GOD is directing me in all the right directions & placing me in all of the right places. I was inspired by GAYA Lifetime Achievement Award winner Terry Kay as he read his essay during the acceptance of his Lifetime Achievement Award from the Georgia Writers Association. The award ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to meet with some of Georgia’s great literary sons & daughters! Much appreciation to the Georgia Writers Association for its service to and promotion of writing and publishing in Georgia.
